Every Wednesday night from Memorial Day to Labor Day on Lake Zumbro at Fishermann's Inn. They also do special shows at Foster Arend. SkiDox is a non-profit with a goal of becoming a premier source of entertainment in Southeast Minnesota, and "give our community something to be proud of."

We are very fortunate to have this beautiful chunk of land with animals, hiking, camping and more that is just 5 miles from Rochester, and absolutely free.

Every Thursday throughout the summer in Downtown Rochester, you'll find live music, vendors and fun. Whether you're new to Rochester, or have been here forever, it's definitely worth checking out.

Foster Arend Beach
Sadly, we don't have many lakes in this area that we can take advantage of. Fortunately, Foster Arend is available and FREE! Go swimming, lay out in the sun and read, or play some sand volleyball. It'll make for a great day!

Feed the Geese at Silver Lake
My kiddo is 8 and still very much so enjoys feeding the geese. Grab a bag of bread and head to Silver Lake. There's a park and plenty of geese to feed. Riding a bike, walking or running the trails is also fun for all ages.
This isn't free, but totally fun! When I was a kid, my grandma, my cousin and I all used to rent peddle boats and hang on the lake all day!
