Add This Minnesota Waterfront Brewery to Your Bucket List
Tasty beer, delicious food, great service, AND a beautiful view - what's not to love? If you haven't been to Reads Landing Brewing Company, you should totally add it to your list.
While it'll feel like you are heading to the middle of nowhere (which you kind of are), I promise you it's worth the short drive (about 45 minutes from Rochester). The Wabasha area is gorgeous. And Read's sits right on the river. The home of the brewery is a classic brick building that was built in the 1800's.
Let's talk about this food! You know me, I LOVE food! They serve big city quality grub, with unique dishes like pretzel crusted cheese curds, St Louis style toasted ravioli, and my personal favorite, sweet potato tots. I had the Jerk Chicken Tacos. The meat was juicy with so much flavor and was topped with the most spectacular pineapple salsa.
The beer is on point! And did I mention small town prices? Try the Camp'n Amber. One of the main ingredients - Cap'n Crunch (yes, the cereal). It's amazing! But, there's not a bad beer on the menu!
