A southeast Minnesota ice cream shop has announced their opening date for the 2023 season and people are freaking out! If you've been to this ice cream shop before you understand the hype. And if you've never gone, you should get to Owatonna, MN sometime this summer to check it out.
It's definitely that time of year, slowly but surely all of the seasonal ice cream shops are announcing when they're going to open up for the season. And with temperatures being in the 40s and it officially being spring (according to the calendar) I'm ready for it!
Blast Soft Serve in Owatonna Announces Opening Date
Blast Soft Serve in Owatonna has announced their opening date for the season! I've only been able to make it over to Blast once but it's such a cool spot that I definitely want to go again. Plus they have over 100 treats to choose from. I know, it's a lot to take in, but you can't go wrong and if I remember right the servings are huge.
Blast is also in a cool location. The shop is entirely outside, there's no indoor seating. There are picnic tables set up for you to hang out at or there are also walking paths all around along the Straight River. On a nice, warm summer day, this is a great spot to be.
On their Facebook page, they announced that they'll be opening for the 2023 on Thursday, March 23rd! They have specific spring hours, which are Monday through Friday 2 - 9 PM and Saturday and Sunday 11 AM - 9 PM.
