Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – Rochester police suspect a brother and sister found dead in an apartment may have been there for “an extended period.”

Police Lt. Mike Sadauskis says officers found the bodies Tuesday afternoon after a caller reported a strong odor in the apartment building.

Sadauskis says there were no signs of criminal activity and the deaths may have been medical or health-related. Autopsies will be performed to determine the cause of death.

The two were in their 50s and Sadauskis says the woman had been renting the apartment that’s located in the 400 block of 13th Ave NW.
