Burlington’s Highly Anticipated Second Rochester Location Celebrates Grand Opening

Back in October, we reported that a second Burlington store was officially headed to town. If you’ve been waiting to check out the massive new space, the wait is officially over.

Today (Friday, May 29th) marks the official grand opening celebration for Rochester's second Burlington location. The company says the new store, located at 3839 Marketplace Drive NW, features Burlington’s "reimagined store design."

The Northwest Rochester Burlington location (next to Target North) will feature a modernized look with a brand-new layout. The upgraded design includes wider, more organized aisles and bold signage specifically designed to help shoppers navigate the store and hunt down deals.

If you've never been to a Burlington, it’s a mix of just about everything. They carry clothing for men, women, and kids, ranging from everyday casual wear to professional looks. There’s also a massive selection of home items like kitchenware and décor, along with health and beauty products.

The company says it receives fresh merchandise each week, and its prices are generally up to 60% off what you'd find at other standard department stores. It’s the kind of place where you might walk in for a shirt and leave with a cart full of stuff you didn't know you needed.

Rochester's Second Burlington Opens Today with a Huge Surprise for a Local School

The grand opening festivities include an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, and according to ABC 6 News, the retailer is also using the moment to give back to the community. As part of today's celebration, Burlington is making a $5,000 donation to teachers at nearby Elton Hills Elementary School to help support local classrooms.

The new marketplace marks Burlington's 15th location in the state of Minnesota.
