How do you stay cool when it is extremely hot and humid?

I have a history of fainting when I get too hot.  #TrueStory  My most memorable faint was when I was visiting a church and I'm pretty sure we were standing for a kazillion hours singing.  It was a humid, hot day and I don't know if they didn't have A/C or what happened exactly but I knew I was going down.  Sadly, a bunch of people from my high school class were also there and when I woke up, I was sprawled out on the floor.  And yes, I was in a dress so you could see lots of things I didn't want my high school classmates seeing.  Thank goodness we didn't have cell phones with cameras back then!

Unfortunately, I've passed this fun trait on to one of my kids too.  I had to carry her out of a line while waiting in a super long line at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO.  To help me, my kiddo, and anyone else who just gets too hot, I'd love to hear your tips on how you stay cool!  Let me know over on my Facebook page - Jessica On The Radio.
