Civilly Committed Sex Offender Moving Back to Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Rochester Police Department today issued a community notification about a predatory offender who moved to Rochester today on a provisional discharge from the Minnesota Sex Offender Program.
The notification indicates 63-year-old Dale William Hodge is transitioning to a residence on the Olmsted County Campus near the Federal Medical Center in southeast Rochester. He is considered a Level 2 predatory offender, which means officials believe he presents a moderate risk for committing additional offenses.
Court records show Hodge was civilly committed to the Minnesota Sex Offender Program in 2007. His criminal history includes multiple indecent exposure convictions for exposing himself and performing lewd acts that date back to 1991.
The public is invited to view a recorded community notification session concerning Hodge that is available on the Rochester Police Department YouTube channel.
