St Paul (KROC AM News) -  The Minnesota Department of Health Friday released its latest daily summary of COVID-19 activity in the state.

The report shows an additional 7 deaths, increasing the total to 57. There was a reported increase of 11 on Thursday.

There have now been 1336 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Minnesota, nearly 100 more from Wednesday.

The total number of hospitalizations has risen to 317 and roughly half are still hospitalized and 64 of those are in intensive care.

Olmsted County’s newest numbers show 126 confirmed cases and 53 have recovered. The county's death toll remains at 2.

The state has confirmed nearly 34,000 tests as of Friday.
