A 3rd-Grader from Rochester has been identified as one of the smartest kids in the world.

The recognition comes after Ezra Weldegabriel, a student at Bamber Valley Elementary School, participated in the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth Talent Search. KAAL-TV reports that Ezra scored "exceptionally high". He spoke to the television station and said "very few" receive this honor. In the video below he says it was a great experience and can't wait to have the feeling of being honored again. He plans to retest in a couple of years.

On Monday, Samm and I discussed what we wanted to be when we grew up. I'm not sure what Ezra wants to be, but I'm pretty sure he'll be able to achieve anything he puts his mind to.

Congrats, Ezra!
