Food Union Opening Up In Downtown Rochester

I was scrolling through Instagram the other day when I saw a post about a new business in downtown Rochester. I work downtown, and from time to time I'll grab lunch at City Market so I knew exactly where the photo was taken, but I hadn't heard anything about Food Union.

Now, there has been a lot of news coming from downtown Rochester recently including a few stories on new restaurants. The Well Dining and Fuzzy's Italian Ice both recently opened, last we learned about two new restaurants that will be opening this summer in the building where Hefe Rojo and Newts were located, and now we know that Food Union is opening this week.

Food Union Opening Up In Downtown Rochester

Food Union isn't a restaurant, but they will take care of your tastebuds. The company's full name is This Is Food Union and it has actually been operating in Rochester for a couple of years now.

The new location is opening this week.

You'll find This Is Food Union on 1st Ave in downtown Rochester in the building where Olive Juice Studios used to be.

To unveil the new store there are special open house parties planned for Tuesday, March 14th through Thursday, March 16th between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM each day.
