Frightening Video Shows Toddler Falling From Moving Car in Mankato

The frightening video below shows a toddler, in a car seat, falling out of a moving car. The scary incident happened on Riverfront Drive in Mankato.

Thankfully, the 2-year-old is fine. Dan Schisel, a Mankato Police Officer, told the Mankato Free Press: "the child was examined by Gold Cross paramedics and was uninjured." The Free Press story sites the police report which says the child was properly fastened in the safety seat but the seat was not fastened to the vehicle seat and says authorities are recommending pressing child endangerment charges against the mother.
