Cody Phillip Gintz is his name, taking cash from Girl Scout cookie sales is his game. Well, actually doing heroin is his real game, but stealing money from 10-year old girls is how he tried to keep paying for it.

He swiped the cash box the girls were using to store money from their cookie sales outside a "Safeway" convenience store in San Jose, CA on Sunday.

He pocketed the cash from the stolen box and tossed the box in a nearby creek -- which officers recovered when they tracked down Gintz. He humbly handed all the money over to officers when he was nabbed a short time after his crime.

The good news is, the troop made another $240 after Gintz's arrest, as responding officers bought the rest their cookies and threw in another $60 just for good measure!
