National Chains, and local businesses, have been stepping up to help their employees get vaccinated against Covid-19. The large national chains are paying their employees extra cash, giving out trips, or paying for their way too and from the vaccine center.

Krispy Kreme is stepping up their vaccine encouragement game and actually giving away donuts to people that show their vaccination card. A free donut? Nice. Many free donuts would be even nicer, so that's what you get. A free donut when you show your Coronavirus vaccine record. You could it every day for the rest of the year, so the sooner you get vaccinated, the sooner the donut love begins.

According to a story in the Wall Street Journal, brands doing promotions for vaccinated people could backfire for making the company look "opportunist or even exploitative." Though the other side of the issue is as long as its done wall, it's a win for brands, making them look like they're trying to help.

PERSONAL NOTE: I get my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine on April 1st. As a diabetic with a transplanted kidney, I've been super careful and am super eager to be protected. I'm still going to be careful, but I have been since going on Dialysis so many years ago. Clean your hands, don't touch your face when you've touched a public railing, door, or bathroom sink...you know, the usual be safe stuff.
