Chipotle is warning customers of "unauthorized activity" on their payment system. What does that mean? You may have some unexplained charges on your card. Here are the details.
Just when things were looking up for Chipotle after the Norovirus issues in 2016, they have more bad news to share with their customers. Their payment system was hacked.
If you used a credit/debit card at a Chipotle between March 24th and April 18th, check your account.
According to Fortune, Chipotle says it is working with a cyber security firm, law enforcement, and the payment processor to address the matter."
As of now, there is no further information as to which Chipotle locations were affected.
