Is There Snow in Rochester’s Forecast?
A lot of people are wondering how long this nice weather is going to last. I know that's what I was thinking as I was shooting hoops in shorts and flip flops with my boy on Saturday.
Temps have been above average this fall but that is about to change. It is going to cool off over the next few days and some are even speculating that we could see our first snow of the season later this week.
When does Rochester usually get its first snowfall?
The National Weather Service says the average date for the first measurable snow in Rochester Minnesota is November 5th.
Is it going to snow this week?
The 10-day forecast does call for snow showers. We'll get to 60 for a high today, but by Friday the temp will only get up to 40, and we'll only reach the low 30s on Saturday and Sunday.
The Weather Channel says we'll see snow showers on Friday morning and up to an inch on Saturday night into Sunday morning.
We'll see if that snow sticks or not.
