Comedy Competition with Big Stakes

The festival also hosts a comedy competition with $10,000 up for grabs. The competition takes a pool of 40 comedians, each performing an 8-minute stand-up set. The top 10 advance to the next round, and from there, the top 5 compete for the $5,000 grand prize, making it a thrilling showdown for Minnesota comedy fans.

Loons on the Lake also features a showcase of other up-and-coming talent, performers looking for their big break and a chance to network with fellow comedians and entertainers right here in Minnesota.
