You don't have to be in a fancy restaurant to get a good meal. In fact, some of the best meals can be found in small, modest restaurants.

Duluth Grill Takes the Crown - Is It Really a “Hole-in-the-Wall?”

Duluth Grill, located just off I-35 on 27th Avenue West in Duluth, is best known for its fresh, local, and organic menu. It may not feel like a “hole-in-the-wall” to many visitors, but nearly everyone agrees, this spot is worth the stop.

Open daily from 8 AM to 3 PM, Duluth Grill serves a breakfast menu with items like eggs Benedict and burrito bowls, and a lunch menu with sandwiches and hearty bowls.

A Family-Owned Duluth Favorite

The restaurant originally opened in 2001 as Duluth Grill Embers. By 2008, it had completely dropped the Embers branding and simply became the Duluth Grill. Tom Hanson and his family own the Duluth Grill, as well as other local favorites like OMC Smokehouse, Corktown Deli & Brews, and several other properties around town.

9 Unlikely New Names for Minnesota's Xcel Energy Center

After 25 years, Xcel Energy is stepping away from its naming rights deal with the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. A new sponsor is expected to sign a long-term, high-dollar agreement to rename the arena with the Minnesota Wild.

While several major brands are rumored to be in the running, we couldn’t help but think of some uniquely Minnesota companies that would make amazing (and hilarious) naming rights partners—if only they had the budget or interest.
