Police Request Public Help to ID Rochester Shooting Suspect
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Rochester Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in identifying a suspect in a recent shooting.
Officers were called to Graham Park around 10 PM on September 2 to investigate reports of gunfire. Officials say three shots were fired and multiple people were present at the site of the annual Olmsted County Fair, but no injuries were reported.
The Police Department today released a photo of the suspect that was gleaned from a security camera video recording. A news release says, if you recognize the person in the picture do not approach him and contact Police Detective Manuel Matos at 507-993-1280 or by email at mmatos@rochestermn.gov.
Anyone wishing to leave information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477). The reward may be issued for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
