I am not what you'd call..."a math geek". In fact, once my kids hit the story problem era in their math classes at school and went beyond Algebra, I checked out of helping with this type of homework.
For math geeks though, March 14th is basically a national holiday.
Memorizing digits of Pi was a yearly challenge for my kids at school. You probably know how it starts... 3.14... but according to Guinness World Records, the digits of Pi go as high as 62 trillion. Not sure how many digits my kids can recite now, but at one point, we were hearing over 50 digits of Pi being recited all day long at my house. Fun times. They got a pencil for knowing the most digits too.

Best Pi Day Deals Happening March 14th, 2026
According to history.com, March 14th has been the official celebration of the famous mathematical sign known as Pi since 2009. If you know anything about America, we celebrate everything with food.
On Pi Day this year, take advantage of all of the great deals that businesses have created just for you. BONUS - you don't even have to be a math geek to celebrate this very important day.
Blaze Pizza - on Pi Day, buy a 11-inch pizza and score a second pizza of equal or lesser value for just $3.14.
Burger King - on Pi Day, spend $3.14 or more and you can get a free Hershey Pie or Cinnamon Apple Pie. This is an exclusive deal for those who are a Royal Perks member through the BK app or online.
DoorDash - if you don't have this app already, now would be a good time to download it. For Pi Day, three pizza chains are offering deals that include medium or large "Create Your Own" pizza and then getting another one free f rom locations who are participating. Based on info from the Food Network, it looks like Pizza Hut, Sbarro, and Blaze Pizza have locations where this applies.
Papa John's - Papa Rewards members can take advantage of a BOGO deal - buy one large one-topping pizza at regular price and you can get a second one for just $3.14.
Marco's Pizza - According to The Food Network, on Pi Day, any guest can buy a large or extra-large pizza to a medium 1-topping pizza for just $3.14 with the code "PIDAY"
Pi Pizza - if you love Margherita pizzas, head to this pizza spot in Rochester, Minnesota on Pi Day. When you show up, bring a canned good or dry good and you'll get a Margherita Pizza for just $3.14. (limit 6) . See hours and learn more here.

Keep Your Eyes Open - Pi Day Deals Usually Show Up At These Spots Too
As I am typing this, I wasn't able to find any confirmation that the locations below will be offering a specific deal on Pi Day in 2026. They typically have something though so watch their social media pages and websites - something may pop up.
Papa Murphy's - Last year, you could use the code "PIDAY25" to get 31.4% off. So far, I haven't noticed the same type of discount for 2026 - but it doesn't hurt to swap out 26 for 25 and try it.
