FUN FACT: My house used to be one of THE top destinations for garage sale shoppers in the Med City.  For several years, I helped run a nonprofit called Teen MOPS and one of our biggest fundraisers was a garage sale.  People dropped off donations at my house for us to sell and my cul-de-sac turned into one of the busiest roads in NW Rochester for a weekend.

Every week in the United States, about 700,000 people buy something at a garage sale.  It is deals galore and people love hunting for new treasures.  Sometimes a bit of bargaining happens too.
