Latest Forecast Says Rochester Could Get a Foot of Snow This Weekend
Mother Nature isn't quite ready for spring. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for most of our listening area. This weekend's winter storm could dump 4-8" of snow across southeast Minnesota with some locations, including Rochester, getting as much as 12".
Olmsted County Emergency Management just provided this update on their Facebook page, "A winter storm will bring snow to area from late Saturday night through Sunday. Accumulation of 6 or more inches will be possible for some. Currently, the higher amounts are expected in the Interstate 90 corridor with much of that falling Sunday morning. Travel will be impacted and planning ahead is highly recommended."
