While two seemingly innocent men are serving a life sentence in a Wisconsin prison, a brother of one of the men is officially showing his support in the form of a rap song....

The "Making a Murderer" series was first released to Netflix last month, and so many people immediately joined the support wagon. Nearly 500,000 people have signed a petition to free Steven Avery.

If you are one of the few that haven't watched the series yet, first off, you're missing out - it's phenomenal and mind blowing. Secondly, it's about a Wisconsin man who spent nearly two decades in prison for a crime he didn't commit. After being released, it seems that he's framed (some believe by cops...) for a woman's murder and is back in prison. His nephew, Brendan Dassey, is also serving time after giving a statement to cops admitting he was part of it. The statement is disturbing for reasons unrelated to the murder. The then 16 year old... well, you really need to watch it to understand why the statement should be thrown out.

Now Brad Dassey, Brendan's half brother who apparently was fired after Brendan was convicted is showing his support in the form of a rap.

Meanwhile, Steven Avery filed an appeal on Monday. His requests for a retrial have been denied several times, and the petition was viewed but discarded by the White House with this (shortened) response:

Since Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey are both state prisoners, the President cannot pardon them. A pardon in this case would need to be issued at the state level by the appropriate authorities.
