Mid-July Temps & Humidity Return to SE Minnesota
Fall is my favorite time of year because I love waking up with that chill in the air! Plus it's awesome knowing that tossing on a sweatshirt several times a week are almost here.
So as I'm typing this, I just want to state that I don't mean to be 'that guy' when it comes to bitching about the weather... but let's all be honest with ourselves for a minute: Last week's fall-like temperatures were AHHHH-MAZING! So when I read this weekend's impending forecast, I suddenly got into a really bad mood...
"Ya know, I wish it was hotter and more humid out" - Said no one ever. Ugh.
As long as I can remember, Minnesota always seems to hang on to its previous season's weather patterns a little too long than it should. Winter bleeds into spring, spring drags on before summer officially begins and so on... but every year we always get a small tease of what's to come before mother nature reminds us "X" season isn't done yet by blasting us with the extreme of whatever time of year it is.
I hate it.
Sure, Hurricane Florence has a lot to do with our weather right now, and I also fully realize the first day of fall is still a week away, but I'm definitely over all of this: As of now it looks and sounds like a tropical boost in heat and humidity is coming to Minnesota in what could very well be one of the final, if not the final (fingers and toes crossed) surge to 90+ degrees this year. Yuck.
Most of the state will stay dry with hot and humid conditions through the weekend but thankfully relief is on the way with a chance of storms on Monday, with cooler temps on the horizon after that.
I just don't want to look at my electric bill after blasting my AC for several more days...
