Minnesota’s Dangerous Man Brewing is Making a Big Comeback After Closing
A big comeback is on the way! Back in March, Dangerous Man Brewing out of Minneapolis and Maple Lake, MN announced their closure. I was so sad, Dangerous Man makes great beers.
But no more tears. Dangerous Man is coming back soon!

Dangerous Man Brewing Closed Their Doors in March 2025
Dangerous Man had closed their Minneapolis taproom in 2023 and only continued operation of their Maple Lake location and distributing to retail locations until this spring.

In their announcement, they didn't mention any one specific reason for closing, but they did have this to say:
Like many in our industry, we’ve faced changes and challenges, and are in a position where we can make the call with intention, our staff, and future in mind. What we built together was meaningful, vibrant, and deeply loved. It worked beautifully, for a long time. That is something to celebrate! However, it is time to make the last call.
But now, 7 months later, a different kind of announcement has come around.
Dangerous Man is Reopening
On October 1st, 2025, Dangerous Man shared that they're coming back but under new ownership.
The new owner is Jeremy Kuhns, who will be working alongside Dangerous Man founder, Rob Miller.
Jeremy was "originally planning to open his own small brewery," but then his "plans serendipitously changed when he and Rob met over purchasing equipment, and the opportunity to acquire Dangerous Man arose."
At the moment, they're "in the early stages of getting things back up and running", but eventually, they plan to open a new taproom.
Dangerous Man New Location
On their website, they write that the "immediate plan is to get production back up and running and return to delivering cans and kegs around the metro area."
But they're also in the process of finding the perfect location for a new taproom. They write:
We are not quite sure where that will be or when it will happen, but we are hard at work finding the right location.
I'm so excited for them to come back!
