If you're looking to get away for spring break you can fly right out of Rochester to a warm sunny location. Sun Country now has direct flights from the Rochester International Airport to popular destinations like Phoenix and Fort Myers. On its website, the Zoo reminds people to plan in advance: "For the best guest experience, Minnesota Zoo will be limiting the number of visitors per day. Online tickets are required for all guests, including Minnesota Zoo members (free) and children two and under (free)."

The Science Museum of Minnesota is open 9a-5p Sunday-Thursday and 9a-8p on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are very affordable and there is a ton of cool stuff to see. On their site they explain, "8.5 acres of exhibits and activities with boundless opportunities to explore and learn for all ages"
