All Grandstand Shows for the 2025 Minnesota State Fair

We're getting so close to the Minnesota State Fair! The new foods and new food vendors were just announced (which we'll take a peek at later on), and I'm getting pumped.

I'm excited for all the food, drinks, people-watching, and shows. There are tons of free shows that happen all throughout the fair.

But each day of the fair also has a special grandstand performance.

Minnesota State Fair Grandstand Shows for 2025

The state fair kicks off on Thursday, August 21st, and every day of the fair has a grandstand act.

So, kicking things off on the first day of the fair, we have country group Old Dominion.

Show: Thursday, August 21st - 7 PM

Then on Friday, August 22nd, pop star Meghan Trainor will perform.

Saturday's grandstand entertainment is The Current's annual Music On-A-Stick show.

Kicking off the first full week of the fair is Melissa Etheridge and Indigo Girls.

On the first Monday of the fair, the annual Happy Together show will take the stage.

On Tuesday, you can see rock group Def Leppard.

On Wednesday, the grandstand will welcome Hank Williams Jr. to the stage.

Daryl Hall will take the stage on Thursday. - (Steve Miller Band was set to perform on Thursday, but they canceled the show and their whole tour.)

On Sunday, you can catch the state fair amateur talent contest finals.

And wrapping up the 2025 state fair, a group called The Rock and Roll Playhouse will perform the music of Taylor Swift and more for kids.
