MnDOT Announces 2019 SE Minnesota Road Construction Projects

With a brutal winter finally behind us (watch as I totally jinxed myself), it's finally time for the season we've all been anxiously waiting for: Construction season! Oh, yes. It's that wonderful time of the year when the roads go from white to bright orange and yellow. I'm already getting stressed out just thinking about it!

So get ready, because MnDOT just announced 221 statewide road and bridge projects for 2019. Here's a list of everything getting worked on throughout Southern Minnesota:

Highway 14 Tracy

Highway 40 Milan bridge

I-90 Albert Lea

I-90 bridge

I-90 Dakota

Highway 14 - expanding to four lanes between Owatonna and Dodge Center

Highway 61 - from Lake City to Hwy 42 near Kellogg

I-90 Fairmont

Highway 60

Highway 14/Highway 15 New Ulm Gateway

Highway 63 Red Wing Bridge
