Cheapest Places for a Beautiful Beach Vacation in Minnesota

There are so many options when it comes to beach vacations in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Some of them are more expensive than others.

So I have three different locations in Minnesota with plenty of beaches and great places to stay, and it won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Up first, we have Alexandria.

I actually didn't realize until now just how many lakes surround Alexandria. They have so many!

Plus, with different lodging options and plenty of free, public beaches, you should be able to enjoy a nice and affordable beach getaway.

Next, we have Nisswa.

Nisswa has plenty of lodging options to choose from on the water, including Grand View Lodge. That one can get expensive, but it's actually a little cheaper than I thought. There are lots of other affordable options in Nisswa, though.

Since Nisswa is a really cute small town, things tend to lean on the cheaper side, too.

And finally, we have Grand Rapids.

I'll be honest, I didn't know there was a Grand Rapids, MN, but it's west and just a bit north of Duluth, directly north of the Twin Cities.

The small town vibe will provide you with a nice, relaxing beach getaway, as well as plenty of affordable options.
