A list was put together by World Atlas of the prettiest small towns in Minnesota, and I needed to share. I'm a die-hard Minnesotan and will tell you how much I love Minnesota any chance I get, but even I sometimes forget about some of these beautiful places.

So true! People know us for the Twin Cities, which is great and everything, I like the Twin Cities too, but you can't overlook the other cities and towns in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Especially our small towns.

World Atlas writes that our diversity as a state is shown in our small towns with their "traditions, local cuisines, and other unique attractions."

All of these small towns have an adorable downtown area and, of course, at least a lake or two. You can't have a list of the most beautiful small towns in the Land of 10,000 Lakes and have it NOT include towns with lakes.
