Minnesota Small Towns So Beautiful, You’ll Think You’re in a Postcard

Pack your bags, we're going on a road trip! We have so many stunning places all over Minnesota to admire, but nothing is quite like the beautiful small towns you'll find.

Summer is the perfect time to explore these places, too. Great weather, fun events, and outdoor dining. Minnesota towns are always most alive in the summertime, so it's the best time to explore a new place.

A list was put together by World Atlas of the prettiest small towns in Minnesota, and I needed to share. I'm a die-hard Minnesotan and will tell you how much I love Minnesota any chance I get, but even I sometimes forget about some of these beautiful places.

The Prettiest Small Towns You Have to Visit in Minnesota

I love how they described Minnesota in their article:

While the Twin Cities put it on the map with their vibrant cultural landscapes, quirky festivals, and famous landmarks, the North State is riddled with quaint little towns that shape its character.

So true! People know us for the Twin Cities, which is great and everything, I like the Twin Cities too, but you can't overlook the other cities and towns in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Especially our small towns.

World Atlas writes that our diversity as a state is shown in our small towns with their "traditions, local cuisines, and other unique attractions."

All of these small towns have an adorable downtown area and, of course, at least a lake or two. You can't have a list of the most beautiful small towns in the Land of 10,000 Lakes and have it NOT include towns with lakes.

While all of these small towns are beautiful, they're easily not the smallest small towns in our state.
