Just two weeks after announcing all of the new food at the Minnesota State Fair we now know all of the new attractions we can expect to see this year, too! Some sound super fun and others are very inclusive.

As always, I'm really excited to check out and try the new foods at the fair, but I'll also be interested in checking out these new attractions. There's one in particular that I'm most excited about.

One of the new attractions is called the Sweet and Selfie Experience. There will be all sorts of larger-than-life sweets set up for the perfect Instagram-worthy picture. We're talking massive donuts you can pose in, that sort of stuff. It looks really fun!

Also new this year: the Sensory-Friendly Morning at the Mighty Midway and Kidway. On Monday, August 28th from 9 AM to 11 AM the Mighty Midway and Kidway can be experienced with "reduced light brightness and sound volume."

This year is also the 50th annual amateur talent show. The semi-finals are held August 24th-September 2nd at the Lenie Lodge Bandshell. Then the finals are on September 3rd at the Grandstand. All of the shows are free.

There are also going to be two new rides at the Kidway, the Oink Booth has been redone, and the one that I'm excited about...

There's going to be mini golf put together by Can Can Wonderland. Can Can Wonderland is located in the Twin Cities and they have the coolest designed mini golf course. And now they're bringing it to the state fair but this 9-hole course will feature state fair landmarks. I'm excited to see it!
