QDOBA Mexican Eats, founded in Denver in 1995, has become a major player in the fast-casual dining industry. The restaurant chain, famous for its freshly made Mexican food, delicious queso, and free guacamole, now has 700 locations and 16,000 employees.

The finishing touches are being put on two new QDOBAs here in Minnesota and the grand opening dates were just announced.

QDOBA has been voted the best fast casual restaurant by USA Today readers for 5 straight years.

John Cywinski, CEO of QDOBA's parent company thanked customers for the recognition: "We are grateful for our loyal fans who have continued to raise their voices and support us. QDOBA Mexican Eats is opening in Apple Valley at 15052 Gleason Path with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 11 at noon. The first 100 people in line at 10:30 a.m. will get a free burrito or bowl every month for a year!

The Apple Valley location is also hosting Friends and Family Days on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., as well as a Heroes Day on Saturday, June 8 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., where first responders, friends, and family can enjoy free meals.

QDOBA is also opening another location in Rochester on June 11th as well. To generate excitement the restaurant is giving residents in and around the Med-City the chance to win a 10-person Nacho Bar. Follow this restaurant's Facebook for additional details.
