Out With the Purse, in with Backpacks

Apparently I have been sporting a rising fashion trend as a parent. Instead of carrying around a purse, I sport a backpack. In fact, when I go places I have people commenting on my teal/purple Reebox backpack all the time. So you can imagine my surprise when I heard recently that purses/diaper bags are being swapped out for something more ergonomically fashionable and comfortable - back packs!

What I like about my back pack is that it's compact but has a ton of organizational compartments. I can put my small laptop inside it or a couple of books without issue. It also has side pockets where I can place beverages. And of course, I also tote snacks and small toys for my kids to have if I need to distract them at a restaurant.
