Back in May when all of the fairs started canceling people started worrying about how they were going to get their fair food. It’s funny how things worked out because I think most of us have probably eaten more corndogs, mini donuts, and funnel cakes this year than during any other year in the past.

We’ve seen fair-food vendors set up in parking lots around the region, there were fair food kits available online, and of course, the Minnesota State Fair held two fair food parades. Now, if you’re still hungry, a permanent fair food stand has opened inside the Apache Mall food court.

The vendor will be known simply as ‘Fair Foods’ and will offer all of the traditional favorites including:

  • Mini Donuts
  • Mini Donut Sundaes
  • Gourmet Funnel Cakes
  • Funnel Cake Sundaes
  • Deep-Fried Oreos
  • Carmel Apples
  • Cookie Dough Sundaes
  • Fresh Squeezed Lemonade
  • Strawberry Smooties
  • Cotton Candy

I've never had a deep-fried oreo, but I want to try one now!

Today (November 12th) is their grand opening. Learn more by following them on Facebook.
