This Minnesota State Fair Food Is So Popular, It Needs TWO Booths Now

A few years ago, there was a new food introduced at the Minnesota State Fair. Like many new foods, this one was a hot commodity. People lined up to try it out! I didn't try it the first year because the line was SO long and I decided, 'I can just try it next year when the hype is a little less'.

Boy, was I naive. The following year, the line was just as bad! And the same with the year after that. It went at least a block, and at the state fair, that's super long. My brother actually manned a booth near this vendor last year, and he said the line was almost constantly down the street.

Another year, no pickle pizza.

Yes, we're talking about the famous pickle pizza from Rick's Pizza at the Great Minnesota Get-Together.

Plenty of other places now have pickle pizzas, but this one is apparently the bee's knees. I'm hoping that 2025 will be my year to finally try the famous pizza because Rick's Pizza is FINALLY getting a second location!

I'm going to guess they also thought that the hype would die down at least a little in their second year serving the pickle pizza, but that was definitely not the case.

Rick's Pizza is Getting a Second Location at the Minnesota State Fair

The Minnesota State Fair announced that Rick's will be adding a second location in the fairgrounds. I'm really hoping that this will alleviate the crowd, and I can finally get my pickle pizza I've been waiting 3 years for.
