The Minnesota State Fair’s $1 Million Vendor You Can Visit All Year Round
The Minnesota State Fair has come to a close for 2025. Did you get the chance to go?
There are tons and tons of food and drink vendors spread all across the Great Minnesota Get-Together, but a lot of them are things you can only get once a year.
Super popular vendors like Sweet Martha's Cookies and Mouth Trap Cheese Curds aren't available anywhere other than at the fair. Ok, you can buy Sweet Martha's Cookies frozen and bake them at home but that's NOT the same.

But one of the top vendors at the fair actually has a physical restaurant that you can visit all year and you may not know it!
Top Earning Vendors at the Minnesota State Fair
In 2024, the top 8 food vendors brought in over $1 million each. Just in the 12 days of the fair!

Of course, Sweet Martha's took the top spot, making $4.9 million. Then you have your other usual suspects like Pronto Pups, Mouth Trap Cheese Curds, The Perfect Pickle, Fresh French Fries, American Dairy Association of the Midwest, and Corn Roast.

But the food vendor that's the 8th top-earning only has one stand and raked in $1 million in 2024, and that's Que Viet!
They only sell three items: garlic cream cheese wontons, Vietnamese iced coffee, and their giant egg roll on-a-stick. All three are SO good.
I'm sure many people go to the fair and make a point to stop at Que Viet every year. But did you know that they actually have a restaurant you can eat at all year round?
Que Viet has actually been around since 1980, and it's been passed down through generations. The current owner's grandparents were the ones who started the restaurant. Chef Dat Le has been the owner since 1996.
Que Viet didn't become a vendor at the state fair until 2017, but they were a hit right away. Not to brag or anything, but I ate at Que Viet before they were at the state fair.
If you're someone who's obsessed with Que Viet at the fair, make sure you check out their restaurant in Minneapolis! Yes, of course, they sell their famous egg rolls at their restaurant, they just aren't as big and don't come on a stick.
