Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester Police say a 20-year-old woman called 911 early Sunday morning after a stranger came to her apartment and kicked in the door. Captain John Sherwin says the responding officers found the man still inside the residence in the 1100 block of 5th Avenue Southeast and arrested 20-year-old Nelso Guilloty at gunpoint.

The incident began around 6 am when the woman was awakened by someone pounding on the door of the apartment she shares with her boyfriend. Captain Sherwin says, thinking it was one of their neighbors, she opened the door and found Guilloty outside saying something about having his car stolen and being there to take it back. The woman told investigators he then asked if he could come inside and lie with her, which is when she slammed the door shut and returned to her bedroom.

Moments later, the door to the apartment was kicked in and she made the 911 call, while she and her boyfriend remained inside their bedroom. When officers arrived, they found Guilloty with a bag containing some of the couple’s video gaming gear and 40 Xanax pills. He was taken to the Olmsted County Jail and is expected to face first-degree burglary and felony drug possession charges.
