Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A felony assault charge has been filed against a Rochester man who is accused of stabbing another man earlier this week.

The incident was reported by the victim around 9:00 pm Monday. Officers were called to the man’s apartment and talked to him before he was taken to the ER to be treated for a knife wound to his right shoulder.

According to the criminal complaint, the stabbing took place at 24-year-old Brian Heang’s apartment after the two men got into an argument. The man said Heang went to the kitchen and came back with a 10 to 12-inch butcher knife. The man said as he was trying to leave, Heang stabbed him. The man went back to his apartment, which was in the same building and called 911.
