Rochester Students Win ‘Future City’ Regional Competition
This past weekend DiscoverE held its Minnesota Future City Regional Finals.
Future City is a project-based learning program where students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades imagine, research, design and build cities of the future.
With this year's theme being "The Power of Public Space", middle schoolers from all over Minnesota competed for a chance to win an all-expense-paid trip to the Future City Competition National Finals in Washington D.C. this February!
Out of all the teams that competed, below are the top schools who won:
1st Place: St. Francis of Assisi - Rochester!

Skyview MS - North St. Paul
Valley MS of STEN - Apple Valley
Scott Highlands MS - Apple Valley
Westwood MS - Spring Lake Park
