Rochester Woman Robbed at Gunpoint While Walking Home

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman was robbed at gunpoint while walking home from work Tuesday night.

The 57-year-old says she was walking on the 500 block of 6th St SE near Riverside School just after 7:00 PM when two males came up from behind. She says one walked in front of her and pulled out a handgun. The woman says the man pointed the gun at her while the other grabbed her purse. She says the two ran off with the purse, which contained her wallet and phone.

She told police the two appeared to be in their late teens and were “scrawny.”
