Rochester’s NEWEST Most Expensive House for Sale That You Probably Can’t Afford
This past summer, we shared with you the most expensive home for sale in Rochester. That 5 bedroom, 4+ bathroom home, located in Southwest Rochester, had more than 6,000 square feet of space and was on more than 6 acres of land. At the time, the house had an asking price of $1,495,000.
While that home is still on the market, at a reduced price, there’s a new house currently holding the top spot as Rochester’s most expensive house for sale. And this one offers more square footage and a higher price tag than its predecessor.
Also located in Southwest Rochester, this new home boasts 5 bedroom and 5+ bathrooms with more than 10,000 square feet of living space. Sitting on a private, wooded, walkout, cul-de-sac lot of more than 2.8 acres, the home also boasts an additional 2,600+ square feet of space that’s still under construction and listed “as-is.”
The home features a brick exterior, a spacious four-season porch, a security system, an exercise room, a wet bar, a three-car garage and multiple family living spaces.
As for the asking price of this home, it is listed for $1,720,000. If you were to put 20% down, or $344,000 and take out a 30-year mortgage, you’d be looking at a monthly payment of approximately $8,200!
Good luck making this place your own! With it being the holiday season, maybe Santa Claus thinks you've been really, REALLY good this year and will leave the home's deed in your stocking, paid in full!
