Rochester is about to get a tasty new addition. The Honey Baked Ham Company is opening its first location in the city, bringing over 60 years of expertise in serving up premium hams and mouthwatering meals.

What Is The Honey Baked Ham Company?
The Honey Baked Ham Company's history dates back to 1936 when Harry J. Hoenselaar invented the first spiral-slicing machine, revolutionizing how ham is prepared.
He patented the invention in 1944 and opened the first Honey Baked store in Detroit in 1957. Since then, the company has become famous for its signature bone-in smoked hams.
The company is best known for selling pre-made meals you can take home, heat up, and enjoy. They have catering options and a lunch menu featuring premium ham and turkey sandwiches, salads, and more.
Honey Baked Ham Company's Grand Opening in Rochester
Rochester's Honey Baked Ham Co. will be near Buffalo Wild Wings North at 3462 55th St NW #200. A grand opening celebration is planned for Saturday, Jan. 18th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Get there early because the first 50 guests in line will score free sandwiches for a year Plus, every 30 minutes, someone will win a free Honey Baked Ham or Turkey meal, and there will be fun giveaways like branded merchandise, product samples, and discounts.
The event will also feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon, with franchisee Matt Davis presenting a $2,000 donation to the Ronald McDonald House.
The new location, which includes seating for 32 guests, will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and closed on Sundays.
