Someone From Rochester Got Their Joke Featured on This Piece of Laffy Taffy!

I always thought the authors behind the jokes printed on Laffy Taffy packaging were fake. I kind of assumed the company just printed silly jokes on the candy wrapper and gave credit to a fake person in a random town in the US. I didn't really think they'd take the time to go through all of the submitted jokes to find ones that they deemed worthy. (Think about that - that's someone's job!)

This is my chance to find for certain. Are there real people behind these jokes? The picture below was posted by my Facebook friend, Andrew Jordan, with a funny caption that read, "Whoever Devon K is, you've made it to the big leagues!"
