Stewartville Woman Returns Home From Bar to Find Waiting Deputy

Stewartville, MN (KROC AM News) - A Stewartville woman was arrested for DUI Sunday night after arriving home to find a deputy at her residence.

The deputy was sent there to check on the welfare of her two kids - who had called their father to say they had been home alone since 6:00 PM.

Their father - who is the woman’s former boyfriend -  called the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office around 9:45 PM and then went to her home to take the kids, ages 8 and 10.  A few minutes later, 32-year-old Rebecca Nash returned home from a local bar.  A breath test showed she had a blood/alcohol concentration of .12.
