Sticky and Stormy Weather is Coming to Southeast Minnesota
Hey, as long as it's not snow I'll take it.
Not many people can complain about the weather as of late. I mean really, we just experienced the longest winter in recent memory so we're eventually due for some heat and humidity this spring... and it looks like it's all arriving this week.
According to the National Weather Service out of La Crosse, they're reporting it'll be very warm and humid with heat indexes reaching up to 90-95 degrees Wednesday through Friday. Actual daytime highs are expected to be well into the 80s, perhaps tickling 90 in some areas, and while the rain should stop by Saturday it'll stay uncomfortably hot through the long Memorial Day weekend.
While it's still a week away, Memorial Day Monday looks to be quite warm with lots of sunshine and a predicted high of 86. After a calm and quiet start to the month, things are looking to finish with a bang.
