You’ll Be Abandoned In a 200 Year-Old Forest at This Minnesota Attraction
I'm not afraid of the dark until it's really dark and really quiet like in the middle of the night, in the middle of a forest!! If paying to get the crap scared out of you is your thing you need to check out the "The Abandoned Hayride" - Have fun, I think I'm going to sit this one out.
Organizers were forced to modify the attraction last year and turn it into a drive-thru, but it's back to normal this year, and so scary that you have to sign a waiver before you're allowed in.
What Is The Abandoned Hayride?
The Abandoned Hayride is one of Minnesota's newest hayrides and haunted houses and organizers say it is the only one of its type in the country. It's actually made up of four different haunted attractions:
1) "The Abandoned Hayride" - Organizers say it's completely new this year.
2) "Exiled" They dump you and up to one other person off in the middle of the woods!
3) "Forsaken" After you figure out where you are in the woods, you enter this maze which if completely dark and full of evil!
4) "Delirium" This is the final attraction and might be the scariest. Organizers describe it as a "dizzying disorienting nightmare."
Where is The Abandoned Hayride?
It is located in the middle of nowhere, away from city lights and sounds, in a cornfield that is surrounded by a 200-year-old forest.
