Lots of fresh air? - Check!  Meet lots of people? - Check!

Experience the largest gathering of fair goers and cheese curd enthusiasts for 12 straight days? - Check!

For the second straight year, the Minnesota State Fair is having a job fair on Wednesday, June 28 from 4-8 p.m.

They're looking to fill more than 600 positions: ticket selling, ticket taking, parking, retail sales, food service, games, sanitation, barn attendants, and more. They'll work with you to find the perfect position!

Shifts are typically 6 to 12 hours long and you'll be paid up to $10 per hour... plus that free admission I was talking about earlier.

This would be perfect for students who need to make a few extra dollars before going back to school in the fall, or perhaps anyone saving up for a future project at home.

Applicants must:

  • Be 16 years of age or older.
  • Be available to work all 12 days of the fair, August 24 to September 4.
  • Go to the job fair or employment center to meet with a State Fair representative.

They ask that in line by 7:45 p.m. Wednesday to get into the job fair.

If you're schedule's tight, you can fill out the registration form online ahead of time.

And if you can’t make it to the job fair, there are other ways to apply. Click HERE for more information.
