I have been working from home with my wife, who is a teacher, and our two young children for 50 days now. A vacation sounds amazing. You're probably feeling the same way. In fact, a survey published by Travel Pulse shows 8 in 10 Americans are dreaming about a getting away as soon as its safe to.

Many of us might end up taking road-trips instead of flights though because the price of flying after stay at home orders are lifted could be significantly more. According to an ABC News article that sites data from the International Air Travel Association, "Social distancing measures on airlines will slash the maximum load factor (number of passengers) to 62% which is below the 'average industry breakeven load factor' of 77%." If airlines are forced to fly with fewer passengers the price of tickets will rise "43% to 54%" compared to one year ago according to the IATA.
