Tyson Recalls Over 3,000 Pounds of Breaded Chicken
Tyson Foods has recalled roughly 3,120 pounds of frozen breaded chicken products because they may be contaminated with soft plastic pieces. The product was shipped to food service providers. It should not have been available to purchase at retail locations.
The recalled product is “UNCOOKED, BREADED, ORIGINAL CHICKEN TENDERLOINS,” with a code of 1378NLR02. The chicken that was recalled has the establishment ID number “P-746”.
In a statement published by USA Today Worth Sparkman, senior manager for external communications for Tyson Foods Inc., said: "Tyson Foods has identified and is working with affected food-service customers to retrieve and/or remove all recalled products initially shipped to California, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Michigan and Minnesota."
