Vikings Make Trade For Offensive Lineman
The Minnesota Vikings have had a lot of trouble with their offensive line, so they made the move to add a lineman from the New York Giants.
Injuries have been a burden on the Vikings especially on the offensive line, which is why the Vikings made a trade on Sunday for Brett Jones, according to NFL Network. Jones, who has played in the Candian Football League and started 13 games for the Giants a year ago, just might start for the Vikings at the beginning of the 2018 season.
The Vikings starting center from a year ago, Pat Elfein, continues to rehab from an offseason injury and will not play in the remainder of the preseason.
The Vikings and Giants did not disclose what the trade for Jones was for, but many reports are saying it was for a 7th round pick.
The Vikings open the season on September 9th against the San Fransico 49ers.
