And for those interested in hearing about the plan and offering input, here’s your opportunity.

The city has scheduled two virtual open houses Thursday (Oct 7), one at noon and the other at 6:00 pm.

The city says each session will begin with a general project overview presentation and will be followed by a Q&A and feedback session.

Besides input on a proposed bridge, the public is being asked to weigh in on a
“recreational access point to the Zumbro River that would be made possible by a bridge being constructed in this area.”

A recording of an October 7 presentation and subsequent discussion will be posted on the project website for those that were unable to attend. Feedback will be collected through October 31 via an online survey available via the project website.

News update:  Two large lottery winners in SE Minnesota remain anonymous.
